Frequently Asked Questions

  • How long long does the course last?

Our comprehensive 14- week terms will equip you with the skills needed to master at least 4 different mediums. Each class is 3 hours long and taught by an experienced tutor -giving you a chance to learn new skills, and then attempt a finished piece each week to take home and impress your friends!

  • How much do the classes cost?

Please go to Reserve Your Place Now! for our up to date prices, you will find its great value for money! The course includes tea and coffee, plus all the materials needed in class to create your art work (except paper and pencils). A small deposit is required to reserve your seat, the remainder payable the week before your class begins.

  • What do I need to bring to class?

Some people may already have pencils and paper at home and prefer to use these, but we recommend purchasing a Starter Pack which contains all the paper and pencils you will need for the entire course. Everything else is provided for you! Bring a willingness to learn and have fun!

  • Do I need to book in advance?

Yes absolutely. Our terms fill up quickly, and many will be fully booked. Once booking onto a specific class and beginning the course we will be unable to swop you to another class time or day. In exceptional circumstances you may be able to defer your course, this is at the discretion of the Course Manager.

  • What happens if I can't come to all the classes?

We provide comprehensive Beginners Handouts at the end of every class summarising what we have learnt. These plus any visuals we use in class will be put aside for you if you miss a class. On request they can also be posted to you so you can continue to learn from home. Each class starts with a new subject so don’t worry too much if you miss one - you won’t feel left out!

  • I'm a complete beginner does this matter?

Absolutely not!! Our Beginners Curriculums are very much written to help those that haven’t picked up a pencil before. Those that are more advanced can skip over the basic training if they wish, but no-one should feel ‘out of thier depth’. However do be prepared to learn - we pride ourselves on our teaching and instruction - this is not a ‘paint and sip’ style copying class!
